This is the old marketplace entrance in Stockbridge. Unfortunately the lovely arch no longer leads into a market (although the Stockbridge Sunday market takes place very nearby, and is well worth a visit). I first sketched it from the back side (shown below) and then carefully planned a return for the one hour of the day when the sun falls on the front.
