It has been tricky to sketch during lockdown. It is surprising to realise it is a month since my last post, although I have managed to complete several sketches, with empty graveyards featuring as a convenient place to stop for a little while without any possibility of social contact! This is from a very bright day when the shadows on the fascinating old monuments in Greyfriars kirkyard seemed particularly sharp.
