It seems timely to post this picture, with Burns Night imminent. This is a view from Regent Terrace to the none-to-subtle monument to the poet. A passing comment on the work in progress was ‘That’s insane’ which I hope was a complement on the picture rather than an observation on my choice to sit and draw in the cold.
